OWL’s Education Programs aren’t just for schools and classrooms
Please note: Due to the Covid-19 situation, we are currently not offering any in person presentations at this time. Please check out our Virtual Education Programs if you are interested in a presentation.

OWL has customized their education programs for specific groups to suit establishments and organizations such as:
- Libraries
- Regional Parks
- Senior Residences
- Scouts/Girl Guides
- Spring/Summer Camps
- Work meetings
These programs can be customized to the age group that is attending as well as the duration. Typically the presentations are approximately 60 minutes long.
Topics usually presented during the presentation are:
- The function of the OWL Society
- The basic biology and behaviour of raptors
- Dangers to raptors and other wildlife
- What they can do to help raptors and other wildlife
- Any other specific topics—discussed at time of booking
Attendees also have the opportunity to meet two real live raptors (1 owl and 1 hawk/falcon/turkey vulture). Visit our Offsite Education Birds page to find out more about the raptors who may visit.
