PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we will not be accepting any new volunteers until further notice due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
OWL takes the health and well being of our guests, staff, volunteers, and the animals very seriously. We will continue to monitor the situation and assess it in the coming weeks and will update you when we will be accepting new volunteers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
If you have a genuine interest in helping wildlife, especially raptors, we would love to meet you
It goes without saying that volunteers are essential to an organization. Experience is not necessary, just the willingness to learn, motivation to work and a strong sense of responsibility. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age and have received an up-to-date tetanus shot in the past five years. Please keep in mind that working with wild carnivores is not for everyone; it is a constant learning process and can be difficult both physically and mentally.
