Come for a tour at OWL (Online Reservation Only; No Walk-ins)
OWL offers guided tours for the public to come see many of our Permanent Residents (hours are listed below). You will learn how they came to be at our facility, the jobs they perform here, and about the different species of raptors you can find in British Columbia. This portion of the tour is outdoors and occurs rain or shine, so don’t forget to dress for the weather! To finish off your tour, you will also take a walk inside our Wildlife Museum and Gift Shop.
Our guided tours are by donation, and are approximately 30-60 minutes long. We operate on a guided tour basis only and will not be accepting walk-in’s at this time. Our paved tour path, wildlife museum, gift shop, and office are wheelchair accessible!
Please note, We are accepting groups of up to 10 people maximum (including infants and children). Mask wearing is welcomed for the indoor portion of our tour, but not required.
As this is a working hospital, you will not see the care centre or the injured or orphaned birds in care. Loud noises can scare our patients so please be as quiet as possible while visiting. Look for more information on our events page about our next Open House if you’d like to see more.
